Multiple Tap Transformers

Overview

A transformer is consisting of ferromagnetic core and coil. It is important component in various modern electrical and electronic systems. We have advanced technology and imported equipments and made of high quality silicon sheet, copper enamel insulated wire(or high quality foil), insulation material and optimal design. Applied with arranged non-bobbin coil winding technology and vacuum pressure impregnating(VPI) process, the transformer insulation class up to H or C.
Multiple Tap Transformers are extremely useful for heater element applications, where resistance of the heater element increases with aging.
The taps are useful to compensate for the change. We offer various types of multi-tap solutions. These could be Manual Tap Changers, Secondary Wye Taps or Bus Bar Taps.

● There are air flows between coils’s layer to layer and between coil to core, resulting fast heat dissipation, and low temperature rise.
● High grade iron core and winding can be wire or foil
● Small volume, light weight and good workmanship.
● After vacuum pressure impregnating, the whole transformers and reactors are moisture proof and mildew proof.
